天皇と成り、初めての一般参賀

このたび『剣璽』等承継の儀、及び即位後『朝見の儀』を終えて、今日、このように皆さんからお祝いいただくことをうれしく思い、深く感謝いたします。

ここに皆さんの健康と幸せを祈るとともに、わが国が諸外国と手を携えて世界の平和を求めつつ、いっそうの発展をとげることを心から願っております

I am very grateful and deeply grateful to receive congratulations from all of you in this way today, after finishing the “Kenji (剣璽)” and other successions, and after the “chouken-no-gi (朝見の儀)”.

I pray here for everyone’s health and happiness as well as I’m wishing sincerely that our country achieves further development, taking a hand with foreign countries and asking peace of the world.
